Incident impacting Upstream Providers

Power has been restored and calls are now routing properly.

Carrier Update:

Incident status: Monitoring

Our colo provider informed us that power has been restored on bypass, so it is not protected by the UPS. It is being fed from the main generator. The customers will go down and come back up when commercial power is restored and we move off of the main (mobile) generator.

Until the UPS is restored, customers will be directly on utility, and vulnerable to commercial power losses. In the meantime, they are investigating options on restoring the UPS.

Notification email update:

An upstream carrier is currently having an outage in Edmonton Alberta due to power issues in the data center in Edmonton. This may also be affecting a part of Eastern Quebec. Some numbers in these areas may not be able to receive calls until the power is restored.

The carrier has engineers in the data center working to restore power and service to the affected numbers. If you are unable to receive calls or are having trouble dialling other numbers please dial 611 or send an email for support.
